Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll-On Kit

The Veet EasyWax Electrical Roll-On Kit is a hand-held self heating home waxing system that is designed to be ergonomic and easy to use. I was invited to take one for a test drive ages ago but am ashamed to say I’ve only just finished my review now and here are my thoughts.

• The box contains a cartridge containing the wax which you insert into the applicator unit, it is then plugged in to start heating the wax and they’ve also included a plastic stand to hold the unit upright while you wait for it heat. The box also contains 12 wax strips, 4 sachets of the Perfect Finish Wipes and the instructions.
• The kit was very easy to assemble and I had my doubts that the included stand would be able to keep the unit upright but it worked perfectly.
• It is recommended on the package to wait 20 mins for the wax to heat before it is ready to use, I found it took far longer than that at around 40 minutes but even then it still wasn’t spreading as easily or as evenly as I would have liked so I would probably give it closer to an hour to warm up.
• I found the strips removed the majority of the hair however it seemed to leave behind my finer hair and so after I finished waxing I went over it again with a razor to make sure I didn’t miss any areas.

I am not the biggest fan of waxing as I tend to get quite red and irritated very easily however I found the only irritation I experienced was a mild itch the next day. If you are a fan of waxing and find that it works well for you then this is great mess free do it yourself alternative to the wax pots and pre coated strips which I don’t think work well at all. I find the hair takes much longer to grow back compared to shaving and the hair grows in softer rather than itchy and spiky the way it can after shaving. Unfortunately the heating up time is very slow but if that is not a problem for you then you may very well love this product.
