theBalm: Lipgloss to Plump Your Pucker

I’m on a roll with all of my newly released theBalm product posts and so here is a lipgloss from the range called Passion My Fruit. The gloss has a somewhat fruity scent and when applied to the lips I feel that somewhat cooling menthol affect, I assume that this is supposed to be a lip plumping gloss but I didn’t notice any difference. I did like this formula more that other plumping glosses since it didn’t sting the hell out of my lips like others that I have tried.

The colour is a shimmery berry pink which is quite subtle on the lips, I didn’t find this very sticky at all but as a consequence it is not at all long lasting. This is the kind of lipgloss I would have loved in my teenage years due to the shimmery aspect of it however now I feel like it’s a little immature for me. I think this would work great over lipsticks if you’re looking to add some gloss and shimmer or just wanting to achieve a subtle shimmery look throughout the day.
