Day two of Beauty Bloggers Utopia we met up at the Cameron Jane Makeup Academy in Surry Hills and when we entered we had a gorgeous Makeup Box awaiting us with some other fabulous goodies contained within, a huge thank you to Voss and Chi Coconut Water for providing the refreshing drinks.
So many pretty things!
The first part of the day was a makeup masterclass with Cameron Jane where she taught us about facial symmetry and how to create the illusion of it through clever makeup and hairstyling. We each got rulers to measure each others faces to work out our facial dimensions. I have a pretty long face and forehead in particular and so that’s probably why I love wearing hats so much as I’m subconsciously shortening my face through wearing them, like I was that day:

After that we had Stephen Adderton chat to us about the inspiration and creation of his new range of products coming after an expansive career within the cosmetics industry spanning 30 years he has created the Adderton mineral makeup line and is set to release a collection of high end skin care products in 2013.
The Adderton skin care range, some of the gorgeous red lipsticks on offer, a display of the range, Stephen applying the mineral foundation onto Kitty.
Stephen was loads of fun to chat to, he is extremely passionate about his products and a lot of thought and care went into the creation of each product, down to the gorgeous sleek packaging. Adderton is a name to keep an eye out for in future, I’m predicting big things!
