Becca Eye Tint

When I’d heard that Madison magazine was offering a free Becca Eye Tint with purchase I knew that I had to pick one up since I love cream eyeshadows and the full price of these is a rather expensive $42 so at $8.95 for the magazine this was a far more wallet friendly alternative. There were two different Becca shades available – Vicuna a shimmery, sheer peachy gold and Gilt a medium brown shade with bronze shimmer. I opted to pick up the one in Gilt and I’ve been using it as my go to eyeshadow for work since it is on the sheer side it just gives a very subtle colour on the lid although you can layer it a little bit for a more apparent colour. I didn’t have any problems with it creasing or fading throughout the day and I think this would make a really nice eyeshadow base if you wanted to go for something a little more obvious on a night out.

(Sorry about the extremely messy swatches, I squeezed out far too much product then attempted to salvage it by demonstrating varying levels of colour however it just looks like a mess!)

Overall it is a nice product but I wouldn’t pay $42 for it since it is quite sheer so if you are a reader of Madison magazine or just want to take advantage of a good bargain then this is a great way of trying out a Becca product.
