Christmas in July Blog Swap

I really enjoyed the Valentine’s Day Blog Swap I participated in at the start of the year that when I heard Beast and Beauty was planning another international blog swap to celebrate Christmas in July I decided to sign up again. This time I was paired with Agneta, a nail blogger from Sweden and she sent me some gorgeous products:

Nordic Cap of Sweden Nail Polish – This nude beige gives my nails the perfect natural look for work. One coat is sufficient to get a nice natural colour

Nail Polish Remover Pen – I’ve never seen these before but this is perfect for tidying up your nails if you’ve ever done a messy job of applying your nail polish it saves you the hassle of having to remove the whole lot and start again.

Isadora Lipsticks in Heather and Purple Glitz – Heather is a deep rose colour and just the exact type of colour that I go for all the time since I find it very flattering on my skin tone. This lipstick is very long lasting however it can be quite drying so make sure you moisturise well before use and exfoliate your lips well after wearing to keep your lips in good condition. I haven’t tried Purple Glitz on yet but it looks like a sheer, shimmery cool toned pink based on my swatches.

Isadora Eyeshadow Trio in Treasure Island – The gold and soft green turned out really well but I was a little disappointed with the purple colour, it was a lot more sheer than I was expecting. Look at how goosebumpy my arm is here, it was freezing when I took these swatch photos!

Viva la Diva Sparkling Eyeshadow Collection – This palette contains 21 of the most stunning shades and is reminding me that I need to start playing around with and photographing some more makeup looks for the blog. I haven’t swatched them yet but may do a separate post to show off the swatches. The package also contained a Viva la Diva Lipgloss in Ruby Red and mini Isadora Extra Volume Build up Mascara.

Thank you Agneta for all of the great products, I love all of the colourful variety in the products I have received and it’s great to try out some brands that I’d never heard of before.
