I love winged eyeliner and while I will often use liquid or cake eyeliner I love using gel liners most of all as I find them super dark, easier to apply than liquid, longer lasting and they set very quickly. I was recently given the opportunity to trial the Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Gel Eyeliner in Stay Onyx. This 3gm pot of gel liner comes with the signature Estee Lauder gold lid embossed with the EL logo, it is beautifully packaged and the lid is very secure to prevent the product from drying out.

I haven’t actually tried using this with the included brush since I much prefer using my Royal and Langnickel Taklon Detail Liner brush but it is nice that they’ve included one and it would come in useful when travelling. The liner is a smooth consistency and applies beautifully gliding across my eyelid with ease, once it’s on it dries quickly and will not budge until you wash it off. Ever since I received this I’ve used it on an almost daily basis because I know I can rely on it to stay put no matter what.

*Available as a travel exclusive duo “Flawless Long Wearing Eyes Double Wear Stay in Place Gel Eyeliner Duo” This product was provided for review consideration.

Wow, have you changed the way you take your close-up shots? This looks great!

Really? Thanks! I have no idea what I’m doing with my camera, I just take a tonne of photos and hope for the best. I think the lighting is better here at my boyfriends apartment than what it was back at my house in Perth so my photos have been turning out nice.

Your liner looks beautiful with the EL double wear gel liner. How do you get such a perfect wing?
