I’ve written quite an in depth review of what I consider the perfect palette – Ingenious Palette by Estee Lauder – so I”ve created a look using all of the products within the palette and I love the sophistication of the shades. Please ignore the state of my skin as I’ve been having some problems calming it down since winter started, nothing seems to be helping my break outs so if anyone has any advice I’d love to hear them in the comments.  I originally wanted to create a light wing but went a bit overboard and ended up with a thick cat-like wing which is probably a little too dramatic for daytime but would look great in the evening.

Products used:

  • Illamasqua Skin Base Foundaton in Shade 11
  • Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in Medium
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay in Place Gel Eyeliner

All other products were from the Travel Exclusive Estee Lauder Ingenious Palette

  • Aeromatte Ultralucent Pressed Powder
  • 74 Glistening Gold was used as an inner corner highlight, 47 Nude Fresco used as a brow bone highlight, 52 Sizzling Copper used on the eyelid and 38 Chocolate Bliss was used as in the crease and to fill in my eyebrows.
  • Magnascopic Maximum Volume Mascara in Black
  • Pure Colour Blush in 08 Peach Passion
  • Pure Colour Lipstick 18 Boise De Rose

I’m so happy with the Ingenious Palette and how handy it is for travelling, you need carry little else in your makeup bag when you’re travelling with this bad boy!

*Estee Lauder Ingenious Palette is available exclusively from Travel Retailing worldwide for a limited time. This product was provided for review consideration.

Thank you so much, I love this look as well but I feel like since it’s so dramatic I really need to be in the mood for it!

  2. I always try to but give up going with a natural look for day – heavy cat wing forever!!!

I find it easier to draw a thicker wing than a thin one so that’s what I always end up with, it looks very vampy and flirty but I love it!
