Physician’s Formula Eye Booster 2 in 1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner and Serum in Ultra Black claims that it’s high-tech formula enhances the appearance of lashes while providing the instant definition of a liquid eyeliner, in one easy step! Lash Boosting complex targets the base of lashes where it is most effective. Innovative and easy to use eyelining tool delivers effortless definition. High-tech Japanese formula is long-wearing, water-resistant and smudge-resistant.

I am not a fan of these kind of pen eyeliners and I’m even less of a fan of ones that make outrageous and bold claims so this product was going to have to work very hard to impress me.

The packaging is luxurious and weighty, as though it’s a high quality pen encased within, I do like the tip, it’s super long and fine and the cap locks very firmly into place to prevent  it from drying out so application wasn’t any problems. It’ not as rich and dark as I would like and I had difficulty getting a completely opaque line of eyeliner particularly when used over eyeshadow. My biggest problems began when I discovered that this product isn’t very long lasting or waterproof so if you cry from laughter when watching certain a youtube video over and over again then it will run all over your face and leave you with panda eyes as your boyfriend will kindly point out to you.

The aforementioned video.

As you can tell I was not enamoured with this product and if I was interested in using a felt tip eyeliner I’d use the Maybelline Master Precise Liquid Liner. This is not the first time I’ve tried a product that made similar claims and was disappointed but I do prefer this over the Peter Thomas Roth Lashes to Die For version since I find this more pigmented and smoother to apply.

Available from Priceline for $21.95AUD.

Thank you for being honest. :) Those are big claims so it would be awesome if they were true. I love the look of the packaging, it looks a lot more expensive than it is! xx

The packaging is amazing since these pens always seem to dry out so quickly and this is really secure.
