Bobbi Brown Rose Gold Shimmer Brick

I blogged about my obsession for rose gold for my watch, jewellery and handbag but now I’m finally getting to try rose gold on my face! I was recently sent the Bobbi Brown Rose Gold Shimmer Brick, the latest addition to the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick range. Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks are handmade by artisans in Italy and contain five bars of superfine pearl pigments that blend together beautifully to give skin a lit-from-within glow. Individual colour bars can also be used as eye shadow.

What I have found with shimmer bricks is they can be quite frosty and the first time I applied this I made the mistake of just swirling it onto my cheeks like a blush, big mistake! However this is perfect as a peachy gold highlighter and looks amazing at night but can be a little overwhelming to wear in daylight. This also looks gorgeous as eyeshadow and makes it the ideal product for travel since it serves a dual purpose.

Here is me going completely overboard with it but this heavily applied shot shows you the gorgeous peach and gold tones to this powder. This is a beautiful and versatile product and if you’re a fan of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks you’ll love this.
