Get Perfect Brows with Sax

When it comes to my eyebrows I’m fortunate that mine are quite thick and dark, I tend to prefer to keep them thicker as every time I’ve had them waxed or threaded they’ve ended up far too thin which I find far too harsh and ageing on my features. I own Benefit Brow-Zings for grooming my brows however the brow powder in mine is so crumbly I can’t take it anywhere so I rarely end up using it which is a shame however Sax Cosmetics have launched the Perfect Brow Shaping Kit which could be the perfect solution to my problem.

The kit contains:

• Taupe brow powder
• Medium brown brow powder
• Brow pomade
• Highlighting powder
• Slanted Tweezers
• Applicator brush
• Stencils to create the perfect brow shape.

I don’t think the tweezers were any good but I always dislike miniature tweezers, I even had a pair of miniature Tweezermans which I threw out because they were useless. I didn’t expect much from the included brush but it worked better than expected and I’ve been using it ever since. To use the kit I use the angled brush to apply the pomade to my brows then I use the rounded brush to apply the brow powder to fill in my brows. The darkest colour in this kit was a little too reddish brown for my colouring but still looked nice on and finished off my brows beautifully. The texture of the powders is beautiful and soft so I’ve been thinking about trying them out as eyeshadows so I can have an all in one eye and brows kit. The stencils were of no use to me since my eyebrows are so bold however I think they would be very useful for those with sparse or very fair brows and need a guideline for shaping them.

Attempting to grow out my eyebrows is scary! They’re looking better than they were when I took the photo but I’m still a little unsure I can pull them off.

Overall I was very pleased with the Sax Perfect Brow Kit and at a price of $14.95 I prefer it much more to using my Benefit Brow-zings since that is in such terrible shape at the moment and can’t be travelled with or it will shatter even more.
