I have been really ignoring my little blog lately and that’s because I have a big announcement to make, after over two years of having a long distance relationship with my boyfriend in Melbourne I’m finally making the move over there to be with him. It has been getting harder and harder to continue with constantly travelling back and forth not to mention tiring and costly so I’ve taken the plunge and resigned from my current job. I haven’t picked an exact date to fly over there yet but it will be sometime between the 18th and 25th of June and I have a lot of organising to do between now and then, I also haven’t lined up a job yet which I’m a little apprehensive about but at least I’ve got some savings put away in case I can’t rustle up any work right away.
Because I’m going to be so busy getting ready to move I’ll be neglecting my blog a little bit so I may not be able to reply to enquiries or comments immediately so please be patient with me and once I’m all settled in over in Melbourne I’ll be back to posting as often as possible.
I’m a little bit scared and sad to leave my much loved current job but I’m also excited about the future and all of the opportunities that living in Melbourne present for me. I also can’t wait to finally be able to see my beloved boyfriend everyday since we have really worked hard to make this relationship work. When he first moved away I couldn’t see us lasting three months but we’ve been so committed in our love for each other and respectful of each others career goals that we didn’t let distance stop us from staying loyal and true to each other and ourselves.
