Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Range

One of the most incredible things about being a beauty blogger is some of the opportunities that get presented to you, I always imagined I’d be blogging away for my own pleasure without an audience and I’m happy for it to be that way however when I was given the chance to be on the Maybelline Tweet Team I was very excited and I could never have imagined how much fun it would be to get to try out some amazing Maybelline products. Today I’m going to introduce you to the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind range which consists of a Radiant Firming Foundation, a primer, concealer and illuminating brightener.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Radiant Firming Makeup in 200 Creamy Natural, 30ml, SPF 18 – This foundation provides a full coverage and I was amazed at how beautifully this applied, it blends in beautifully and feels weightless while still giving me a full coverage. The packaging is a glass bottle with a very wide opening similar to Revlon Colourstay which makes it difficult to dispense the correct amount of product, I really wish it came with pump. This product contains Goji Berry and Caffeine which are supposed to visibly firm and improve skins condition, I didn’t notice any firming properties but I still really liked the way this worked.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Primer – This is silicone based primer that provides a smooth canvas to apply foundation on by filing in lines, wrinkles and pores. I love these types of primers since when I apply my foundation over the top is blends in more smoothly and gives my skin a perfect base. I also find these primers great at increasing the longevity of my foundation and preventing my skin from becoming oily.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Treatment Concealer in Medium, 6ml – This worked magic at making my under eye circles and blemishes disappear and while the little sponge attachment isn’t hygienic in the slightest it makes applying the concealer very quick and easy and feels lovely and soft. What I love most about this is that it blends in beautifully with foundation this product is definitely a winner.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser, 6ml – This is an illuminating concealer specifically for the under eye area. It has the same round sponge attachment as the concealer and I was a bit hesitant to use something illuminating on my under eye area but this product is wonderful and does an amazing job at concealing my under eye circles.

The concealer and illuminating brightener are holy grail material however the only drawback is the packaging, in order to dispense the product you twist the applicator which then loads up the attached sponge. This is an extremely unhygienic way of applying the product however I’m going to experiment with cleaning this to see if it can be done.
