Another month, another empties post. I’m again tossing a whole bunch of mascaras since I hang onto them until I’ve finished reviewing them then move on so I have quite a few here. Didn’t use a lot of full sized products this month since I feel more accomplished when I use up lots of smaller things.

Swisspers Cotton Balls 200 pack – I bought Johnsons cotton balls to replace these and they’re so much wimpier and smaller, definitely going to stick with the Swisspers branded cotton balls next time.

Cellnique Intensive Hydrating Silk Masque x 2 – Was trying them out for review purposes.

Apivita Body Refresh Sampe – This is a sample of the fig and aloe bath and shower gel, took it with me to Melbourne over Easter and it smells beautiful and didn’t leave my skin feeling dried out. I really like what I’ve seen from this brand so far.

Apivita Wine Elixir Anti Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream & Anti Wrinkle and Firming Day Cream Samples.

Innoxa SOS Skin Tissue Oil 150ml – This is an aerosol can of body oil which I found very moisturising on my legs but I felt like I was inhaling fumes from the amount of product that would spray everywhere. I didn’t even attempt using this anywhere else than my legs since I wanted to keep it as far from my face as possible.

In Essence Hydrating Hand Cream 50ml – This hand cream combines lavender, rose, myrrh, calendula, orchid flowers an mallow scents and I found this way too overpowering and not at all moisturising.

Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Lotion Sample – This was coconut infusion and smells divine, came out of a beauty sample box and also came with me to Melbourne as a travel product.

Colgate Dental Floss x2 – I have so many of these mini flosses that I’m trying to use up, they’re a lot more difficult to use since I have braces but they seem to just multiply in my bathroom cabinet so I’ve been attempting flossing with them.

Covergirl Lashblast Luxe – I can’t remember what this is called but it’s supposed to add a blue shimmer to your eyelashes, it does not do this and it’s nowhere near as good as the traditional Covergirl Lashblast.

Mirenesse Secret Weapon Mascara - Please click for my review.

Mirenesse Vibralash Mascara - Haven’t used this in forever and reviewed it ages ago so it’s about time I tossed it.

Okoii Natural Skincare Camellia Night Beauty Oil 5ml – I almost burst into tears when this ran out and I’m dying to purchase some more since it worked wonders on my skin but I have so many serums and bottes of rosehip oil that need to be used up. Nothing seems to compare to this though so I’m probably going to bite the bullet and purchase some more.

Kosmea Hydrating Rosewater Mist 25ml – Kosmea are extremely generous with free gifts on their website so I have quite a stockpile of sample sizes. I love spritzing my face with this everyday at work to keep my skin moisturised and to help avoid my face powder making my skin look cakey.

Korres Perfume Samples – These came in my Valentine’s Blog Swap and have been perfect to keep in my work bag.

Nivea Pure Invisible Deodorant – I can’t stand the smell of this yet I have another can of this ready to go for some reason I can’t comprehend. I much prefer Dove spray deodorants.

Dermalogica Intensive Moisture Balance – This is quite a rich moisturiser that is designed to be used at night however I use it in the morning as well and it feels beautiful, leaves my skin feeling lovely, I will repurchase eventually once I use up some of the other moisturisers I have floating around.

In other updates yesterday I went shopping and picked up four new lipsticks all from Revlon so I’ll be reviewing them over the next few weeks.

  1. You are the skincare guru, so I was wondering if you knew a good product to help reduce the red scarring left my acne?

Hi Gems, not too sure if I could help you with that one. I think your best bet would be to go to a beauty therapist and get them to examine your skin and make a recommendation. Sorry I couldn’t be more help!!!

Those Korres perfume samples are so cute! I’ve only ever used their lip butters but just bought a pack with a few lip products, think I’ll need to check out their fragrances next!

I”m turning into a Korres addict, every single product I’ve tried from this brand I’ve loved. I want to get some of the lip butters to try myself.
