This is very embarrassing to admit but I’m not very fastidious or consistent when it comes to sun protection but I’m trying to get better with applying sunscreen and more importantly re-applying throughout the day so I was very pleased to see the inclusion of some Invisible Zinc products in one of my POBM goody bags. I know the POBM was a very long time ago but I’m still getting around to writing all my reviews!

Invisible Zinc Environmental Skin Protector for face (RRP $35.00 30ml) : Environmental Skin Protector is a full Zinc Oxide facial sunscreen with a lightweight moisturiser feel and will change the way you wear sunscreen. ESP™ forms an invisible film on the skin that reflects UV light away and acts as a barrier between you and the environment. High-end UV protection that feels like a hydrating moisturiser. Clearly the smartest protection under the sun.

I was really pleased with this facial sunscreen and it was very lightweight and easy to rub in. I was expecting something far more heavy and so was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t encounter any white cast to my skin and my preferred way of using this was over my daily moisturiser then putting my foundation over the top of that.

Invisible Zinc Tinted Daywear in Medium (RRP $32.00 50g): More than just mineral makeup, a complete 3-in-1 moisturiser, Zinc sunscreen and sheer foundation for everyday high UV protection. Tinted Daywear has the full protective barrier with none of the ‘covered up’ opaque look foundations can give. Now available in two shades of sheer golden tint: TINTED DAYWEAR LIGHT for light/medium skin tone and TINTED DAYWEAR for medium/tan skin.

I really wasn’t a fan of this, the colour was very orange which is not really the kind of skin colour I aim for. I haven’t seen the light version of this so that may have been more suitable for my skin tone. This was quite a thick texture and takes a little bit of working into the skin the get an even application.

I was very happy with the facial sunscreen and will continue to use and re-purchase, the tinted moisturiser however just wasn’t for me.

*These products were sponsored by Invisible Zinc and received as part of the POBM
