Australis Lash Length Extension Mascara

I’ve never tried any mascaras from Australis so I was keen to see how this one would fare in comparison to the many, many I’ve tried before. I normally associate Australis with quite plastic and garish black and pink packaging however I was pleasantly surprised to see this long, elegant mascara in  a metal tube. When I applied one coat of this mascara I wasn’t all that impressed, this wand seems to pick up only a small amount of mascara and I tend to like mascara wands loaded up with product however on applying a subsequent second and third coat that is when the mascara seemed to really work and my lashes grew longer before my very eyes. I also didn’t have any issues with clumping whenever I added another coat of mascara. This mascara stayed put all day at work without any smudges or flaking so I was super impressed, this would have to be one of the best drugstore mascaras I’ve ever used.

I still prefer my Estee Lauder Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara over anything else since I can get these results with added volume in just one coat but at this price Australis is a great drugstore alternative. In my photos below you can see my bare lashes then the Australis Mascara with three coats, I don’t curl my lashes so this is all the work of the mascara.
