I’ve been receiving emails about Organic Nvey Eco makeup products for a long time now and have seen the odd review pop up on other blogs however I have not taken the time to try any of the products for myself until now. I was sent the eyeshadow palette in number six and the eyeshadows are talc free and formulated using soothing organic elements such as chamomile and jojoba oil, with added Antioxidants Vitamins A,C & E, to create a smooth and soft formula. Due to the caring ingredients these products are supposed to be excellent for dry sensitive skins.

The palette I was sent was a combination of sedate smoky colours that I think are more suited to winter.

  • 170: Is a dark charcoal grey colour with some silver shimmer, this had a gritty texture and wasn’t all that pigmented at first swatch. This eyeshadow is best patted on and built up to get the desired level of pigmentation.
  • 171: Is a greyish toned violet which had the smallest amount of silver shimmer. It was not all that pigmented at first either but had a much smoother consistency than the first colour.
  • 168: Was a frosty beige peach, had the loveliest and smoothest texture of all the shadows.
  • 172: Is a gorgeous mushroom taupe colour. I thought this was really pretty
  • 173: Is a greyish olive green with  a hint of gold shimmer.

All of the eyeshadows apart from 168 had quite a dry texture to them which I was a little disappointed with however this palette is well thought out and the shades go together beautifully. If you are committed to organic and natural ingredients in your cosmetics then the Nvey Eco range is worth a look.

  1. My sister swatched another pallete of theirs recently and after seeing your pictures… I defintely need to pick one up. I think it’s really important to support eco-friendly lines when possible, especially if they do a stellar job.

They come in a quite a few colour varieties, definitely great to support an eco-friendly brand since they’re aren’t that many around just yet.
