Hot on the heels of my Bellabox review I received the March Glossybox, this month the Glossybox was about maintaining a fresh and vibrant look while having an active lifestyle. The products were chosen with exercise and and a healthy lifestyle in mind. I received:

  1. Avene Gentle Milk Cleanser 50ml
  2. Avene Gentle Toner 50ml - I’m actually pretty pleased that I received these Avene products as I’ve heard good things about the brand and these bottles are perfect for travelling
  3. Klorane Gentle Shampoo with oat milk 25ml - This will probably end up getting thrown into my travel product stash, never tried anything from this brand before but I don’t think 25mls of shampoo will allow me enough use to form an opinion of it or encourage me to buy it.
  4. Proactiv Cleansing Bar 150gm - I doubt I’ll be using this as I’m pretty sure Proactiv is for quite acne prone skin and can be quite harsh.
  5. Pome Skin and Hair Wonder Serum 50ml - The other stand out product of this box is this serum that can be used for hair or skin and contains pomegrenate and argan oil. Not sure how I feel about something that can be used on hair and skin but I’m game to give it a try.
  6. Power Balance Bracelet - I don’t know what the hell these bracelets are supposed to do but I’m pretty sure they’re a scam and do nothing. I would not be caught dead wearing this and if I saw anyone else wearing it I would probably form a very low opinion of them based on this alone. (Cruel I know but I’m just being honest).
  7. A $10 Gift Card for zanui.com.au - I’ll more than likely check out this website since I’ve never heard of it before but in order for this gift card to be valid you have to spend $50 minimum which I won’t be spending.
I think I was very fortunate with the contents of my box compared to others that I’ve seen (at least I didn’t get a used Panda Pen ewww) The Avene and Pome products make this worthwhile to me because they are of a high quality but I won’t get much use out of everything else. Glossybox does have outstanding packaging and presentation compared to some of the other beauty sample boxes I’ve seen on the market but based on this box I won’t be signing up for future Glossyboxes.

  1. I received one of these two and hopefully will be reviewing it soon!

You made me laugh with the comment about the pink band. I got that too.

I found out that when they first came out they were sold for $60! I can’t believe people got duped into paying that much, what a joke!!!

I think the Glossy Box contents always looks disappointing (from what I have seen anyway).

I reviewed the Bellabox this month and was pretty pleased but they have just announced Benefit has been added to their brands too which I think is so exciting!

I love Benefit! I felt like the Bellabox and Glossybox were both quite average, nothing in there really excited me I wish they’d put more cosmetics rather than skincare since skincare is so personal.
