I first heard rumblings through Twitter that Hello Kitty makeup was launching at Priceline, I love Hello Kitty and used to collect Hello Kitty stuff in high school. While I no longer collect Hello Kitty stuff I still have a soft spot for Hello Kitty and the makeup range combines my two obsessions beautifully. When I found out that it had launched I had a look at a couple of Priceline stores in Perth in the hopes of finding some of the products, unfortunately we in Perth are a bit behind the rest of the country with the launch of new products so I had to abandon my search. However this week I was filled with great joy because I was unexpectedly sent an amazing goody bag with products from the Hello Kitty makeup range, excitement overload! (I’m really far too spoiled).

Hello Kitty Makeup Bag: The makeup bag was looking pretty overloaded so I could not wait to open it up and see what was inside!

  • Compact Powder in the shade 03 Pashmina Apricot – I cannot bring myself to swatch this yet so give me some time to work myself up to it. The imprint in the powder is far too cute to ruin!
  • Mono Blush in the shade Venise – Such a pretty pinky peach colour with some gold shimmer.
  • Mono Eyeshadow in the shade Desert Dore
  • Eyeshadow Duo in La Dame Au Camelia
Look how pretty the eyeshadows are! I really was not expecting much from them but they are gorgeous and very pigmented.

  • Diamond Stars Roll on in Angel Rain – Don’t really know what I’ll do with this, it’s the kind of thing I would have gone nuts for as a 13 year old but I can’t see myself ever wearing it now!
  • Roller Sparkle Gloss in Pink Paradise – I feel the same way about this glittery lipgloss.
  • Magnetic Gloss in Baby Lip
  • Shine and Kiss Lipstick in Violetta
  • Semi-Matte Lipstick in Bollywood
Bollywood and Violetta Lipsticks
  • Rose Fragranced Balm in Kawai Kiss
  • Pretty Eyeliner in Matte Black
  • Intense Kohl Eye Pencil in Noir Obscur
  • All in One Mascara in Dark Black
Liquid Liner on the left and Kohl Pencil on the right
  • Nail Polish in Golden Girl

Sorry that I haven’t swatched each item yet, I’ve rushed through writing this because I was so excited to show you all of these gorgeous products so I didn’t get to completely play with everything. I haven’t swatched the lipsticks, the powder, the nail polish, the lipglosses or the glitter roll on thing yet so this is all I have to show you right now but I have to say I am very impressed. I thought this would be makeup for children but the packaging and naming of the products shows a distinct level of sophistication. The eyeshadow and blush packaging is a bit plastic looking but they seem sturdy enough and the products inside are of good quality. I’ll have a play around with the products over the coming weeks and provide you all with some more in depth reviews. All in all I don’t think you would regret it if you decided to pick up some of these products based on my first impressions.

Kimmi of The Plastic Diaries was kind enough to share this link to find out which Priceline stores stock the Hello Kitty range.

oooooh super cute! Yolly was telling me that I should get some of it too. I might have to have a look. Your right too, the impression is too cute to ruin!

    • Megan says:

Definitely check them out if you can find them. Some of the stuff is very much aimed at young girls eg the glittery lip gloss and glitter roll on but the lipsticks are incredible, I need to make up a separate post about them!

Love the new purple shade of Violetta lippy I bought today…also purchased the Bollywood shade. Am going to be reviewing them on beastandbeauty.wordpress.com later this week! :) So keep your eyes peeled! Love that they are made in Europe too…very luxe for bargain prices!

    • Megan says:

Aha I didn’t realise they were made in Europe, I had suspected as much with the very luxe sounding French names. Good to know my suspicions were on the mark! I’m going to have do some more in depth reviews of these over the coming weeks, they’re really good!

  6. I think I’ll finally get around to checking out this wonderful range tomorrow :D I’ll definitely be having a look at that blush!

Hi! LOVE all these things! So cute! I was wondering, how did they send the bag to you? Are you on some sort of website that sends you these things? ox
