Whilst in London I came across the Benefit store in Soho. I have been on a quest for the Benefit Creaseless Cream in the shade Strut forever and so I was determined to buy it if they had it in store. Luckily for me they had it and I also picked up the Benefit Brow-zings Brow Shaping Kit in Dark which contains a brow wax, brow powder, two brushes and tweezers. The tweezers were completely useless so I threw those away but the two brushes seem to work very well. My only issue with this brow kit is that the brow powder is quite fragile and mine cracked somewhere along my travels, just like my beloved Top Shop Solar Cell eyeshadow – another casualty.

I’m still not 100% sure how to use Brow-Zings. The lady at Benefit said to mix the wax and the powder together then apply, but the instructions on the box say to use the powder first to fill in brows then apply the wax to shape. Can anyone help me with this?

It’s not in the best state after travelling. This product is best left on the dressing table at home and not carried around.

The Creaseless Cream in Strut I’ve been lemming for ages because Emily uses it all the time in her gorgeous smoky eye looks but every Benefit counter I’ve been to never seems to have it so I was very pleased that I finally found it.

Such a gorgeous colour I used it as a base for my recent Topshop FOTD and can’t wait to use it in some more smoky eye looks. I am just so happy to finally have it in my hot little hands!

I cannot for the life of me remember how much I paid for these, the prices were in British Pounds so I would recommend you check out the Benefit website if you’d like to purchase them.

Love those Creasless Cream shadows! I’ve been wanting to try them forever! What’s the wear like? I’m not sure about the brow pack – eyebrows and cosmetics are a mystery to me :)

The Creaseless Creams last really well on me, a full 8 hour day without creasing, I can never get the same results with powder eyeshadows no matter what primer I use with them so I tend to use cream shadow a lot more lately. They’re just so easy to apply as well, I just use my finger and blend it in and I’m good to go in a a matter of minutes. I’m really loving filling my brows in now, I never used to bother with it but it seems to just give them a bit more definition by filling in the gaps. They just seem to look more tidy and neat as well. I don’t do it everyday but if I have the time to spend on them I’ll definitely try to fill them in.

Hi Lovely Megan! There is obviously no right or wrong way to use the browzings, but I personally use the brow powder first. This fills in the brows and gives them shape and definition, then I use the wax to control my brow hair and keep it in place. You could try it either way, but I imagine that the concoction would get a bit claggy and gross if you mixed the two up. x

Thanks Sara-May, I can always count on you for advice! I’ve been doing the powder first then the wax and it makes a lot more sense, I wasn’t too happy with the way it turned out when the lady at Benefit did them for me so I’m glad I’ve cleared that up!

  3. Ahhh Strut looks beautiful, lovely and smokey! Sorry, I’m no help when it comes to Browzings :(

Congrats on finally finding Strut! And you did such a good job capturing the complexity and shimmer of the cream shadow in your picture! Gorgeous!
