I didn’t do as much makeup hauling as I would have liked whilst in London, there just wasn’t enough time and at the end of my trip when I had time I was unfortunately very sick and couldn’t do much else besides lay in bed to try and get myself healthy for the long journey home.

Such gorgeous packaging, although I can see the blush compacts getting very dirty very quickly, they are rubberised like Nars compacts.

Top Shop Eyeshadow Mousse in Glint £8 – This is a mousse eyeshadow in a shimmery brown colour with a hint of purple. This is a foolproof colour and whilst on holiday I used it constantly as I could apply it with my finger for a gorgeous wash of colour. It never creased and I found it lasted all day, even if I had been out in the sun and sweating. I can see myself using this eyeshadow a lot because it’s so easy to use and such a flattering everyday colour.

Top Shop Baked Eyeshadow Duo in Solar Cell £8 – I fell in love with this duo, a dark glittery charcoal and a shimmery teal. Beautiful colours, great pay off – I was so happy with this purchase but I ran into a bit of a problem when the pan popped out of the compact. I was unable to get back to the Top Shop store to replace it so I stuck it down with double sided tape and it seemed to hold it in place well. After I returned from my travels I flew to Melbourne to spend some time with my boyfriend before I had to go back to work and on a night out decided to use this eyeshadow duo. That was when I noticed a crack down the middle of the two colours. I didn’t think too much of it, sure that it would still be ok (I was delusional). It was when I returned to Perth that the entire green side had broken from the rest of the eyeshadow. I’m pretty devastated by this latest development and not too sure how this product can be salvaged. I did keep the eyeshadow in it’s original box the whole time I went traveling but it needed more TLC!

Top Shop Cream Blush in Head over Heels £6 – This is a gorgeous coral peach blush in cream to powder formula, I’ve been loving this colour on my cheeks and I think that’s it’s a perfect summer colour. I wouldn’t recommend these on your lips because they are a cream to powder formula they can be quite drying.

Top Shop Cream Blush in High Five £6 – This is quite a pigmented pink and I haven’t been brave enough to try it on my cheeks yet. I think you’d need to be very light handed with this one because it is so pigmented but I’m keen to experiment with this one in a look.

This is how Solar Cell looked by the time I got back home, it makes me sad.

Oh you can! The Topshop website does free international shipping if you place an order of at least 75 pounds which is about $115 Aussie dollars or thereabouts. I’m addicted now!

  2. Poor Solar Cell :’(

The cream blushes look lovely, until you started blogging about Topshop I’d safely forgotten about their makeup. >__> Curse you! Haha

  3. Rose says:

Aww that’s unfortunate! Solar Cell still looks pretty though!

I’ve been experimenting with Topshop Makeup too and Head Over Heels blush is one of my faves!

Head over Heels is definitely my number one pick from the Topshop line, I have another order coming my way soon with some lipsticks and a liquid liner so I can’t wait to see what those are like!
