I just returned home late last night from a quick weekend away in Melbourne and when I got home I thought I’d quickly take a photo of the contents of my makeup bag:

I always pack too much and this time was no exception:

Strawberrynet makeup bag – this is pretty small but it’s a good way of stopping myself bringing too much, this came as a free gift with an order a long time ago.

Tarte Park Avenue Princess Bronzer – Check out my review of this here

Clinique Almost Powder Makeup in 04 Neutral

My MAC quad containing Grand Entrance, Woodwinked, Club and Black Tied (I only ended up using Club)

Boing Concealer in Medium – This is such a great concealer for undereye circles but it can tend to get dry and cakey looking throughout the day so I don’t think I’ll repurchase.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow Liner in Marry Up

BYS Blush in Coral – I’ve had this for ages but had forgotten all about it until I saw Lilit from Makeup and Macaroons post comparing it to Nars Orgasm and I’ve been using it fanatically ever since. It really is super pigmented and so cheap.

A couple of emery boards

Urban Decay Primer Potion – You all know what this is! Such a great eyeshadow base.

La Femme Sparkling Eye Dust in Golden Sunset, I like putting this on over the Benefit Creaseless cream

Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss, not sure what the shade is as it has rubbed off but I love these lip glosses, they last for ages!

Elf  mineral lip gloss is Sorority Girl, haven’t really used this much so don’t have an opinion of it just yet

Australis Colour Inject Mineral Lip Gloss in Moonwalk – I really like this it’s moisturising and has the most beautiful tropical scent like pineapple or something.

Covergirl Lash Blast – I try so many different mascaras but I seem to always come back to this. It volumises beautifully, never clumps and doesn’t smudge.

Sigma 187 – This is great for my BYS blush

Eco Tools eyeshadow brushes and a powder brush

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 54 – I haven’t been using this for very long but I really like it so far, has a nice medium coverage

Clinique Airbrush Concealer – I think the shade was 04 Neutral Fair, it’s mostly rubbed off so it’s hard to say. I absolutely love this product

Sephora Eyebrow groomer and eyeshadow brush – I got these in the USA in a smoky eye brush kit from Sephora.

Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner pencil in Zero – Hands down the best eyeliner pencil I have ever used

Bourjois Metallic Eyeliner in Bleu Clinquant – I have no idea if you can even buy these anymore but I love it if I feel like playing with some colour. (I didn’t end up using this over the weekend so was probably unnecessary)

It is so surprising how much could fit into that tiny makeup bag. Looking at this I think next time I can try to stick to just one lipgloss and I prob didn’t need so many brushes. I must be a psychological thing that no matter what size the bag I use I have to fill it to the brim!

My makeup bag is even bigger :-P ..I always carry way too many makeups than I would actually use!

That’s why I deliberately brought a tiny one so I wouldn’t bring too much!
